Flood inundation maps from Sentinel-1 satellite radar in Google Earth Engine
Flood inundation maps of Bangladesh for 2020, 2021 and 2022, built from Sentinel-1 SAR imagery in Google Earth Engine using the UN-SPIDER change-detection method, with division-level maps and an analysis of historical flood records from the Bangladesh Water Development Board.
2022: before the flood (April), after the flood (June), and the inundation map. Blue is permanent water, red is flooded area.
